We are currently looking for a total of 2-3 interns into our Solar Array and In-Space Manufacturing teams. The positions we are now filling are full-time, 6-month internships for students who are looking to have their mandatory internships as a part of their Engineer studies. The start would be as soon as possible, in early May 2026 at the latest.

1. Internship in Solar Array production team
Your tasks and responsibilities:
As a student intern, you will support the engineering team throughout the full project life cycle: design, breadboarding, preparation for manufacturing, and testing, in line with project schedules and mission requirements. You will actively contribute to daily laboratory activities, preparation of project reviews, and test campaigns. Including support in setting up our production facility and assisting in the development of process and quality documentation.
Desired skills and Qualifications:
You are an enrolled full-time student within the field of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar.
You have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
CAD skills (eg. SolidWorks, OnShape, etc.)
Knowledge in basic electronic design or KiCAD/Altium is a plus
Programing skills (Matlab, Python) is a plus
You can adapt quickly to changing situations and priorities, you will stay calm in the middle of the storm
Working language is English, German is a plus
2. Internship in In-space Manufacturing team
Your tasks and responsibilities:
As a student intern you will support the mechanical engineers throughout the whole project life-cycle in analysis, design and breadboarding activities, preparation for manufacturing and testing in accordance to project schedule and mission requirements. You will actively contribute in everyday lab activities, preparation of reviews and test campaigns and will be able to catch a glimpse into the ways of working of the whole team from systems engineering to embedded software testing.
Desired skills and Qualifications:
You are an enrolled as a full-time student within the field of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
You have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
CAD skills (eg. SolidWorks, OnShape, etc.)
